Pre-legal Collections is sited as the quickets form of Debt Recovery. This is because personal contact can be made with debtors far more quickly than through normal legal recoveries. If this doesn't actually speed recovery it does usually highlight anomalies, inaccuracies, disputes and 'gone-aways' without wasted fees. Speed of action is essential and Incasso LLP staff members have this down to a fine art. Contact calls are made within a maximum 48 hours of an account being placed to our system, which means that, if we do not immediately recover the debt, we can quickly identify and resolve (with your assistance) disputes which would otherwise prevent payment. Our clients have found that a letter from Solicitors has a far greater impact than, say, a letter from a DCA, and each member of our pre-legal Collections staff is trained to judge the most effective arrangement for recovery so that, if immediate payment cannot be made, an appropriate repayment programme will be agreed.
Should Collections be unsuccessful then, following a final Letter Before Action, all data collated in the Collections process is made available to our Litigation staff to provide you with a complete 'litigation risk' assessment of the likelihood of recovery. Our fees are based on a commission of recovered funds so that if you use our pre-legal Collection process and we do not recover, you do not pay for anything up to and including the Letter Before Action. In our pre-legal Collections Service (as well as in our Legal Recoveries Service), Incasso LLP is an expert in both Consumer and Commercial indebtedness.
An excellent recovery tool, which often proves effective and cost efficient, is that of the Letter Before Action
