Working with a charity is important in building relationships with the communities in which we operate. As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility policy, we adopt a charity of the year and hold a number of fundraising events on behalf of that charity. This year's charity is Alzheimer's Society.
On Saturday 25 April, Andrew Lipscombe and David Coleman from the Legal Team at Incasso, along with a number of people from Cobbetts will be taking part in a 5 Peak Lakeland Challenge - a 13 -mile walk over the 5 Lakeland Peaks of Bowfell, Esk Pike, Rossett Pike, Pike O' Stickle and Harrison Stickle. The combined height of the 5 peaks is 3,888 metres or 12,755 feet, with the actual height gain during the walk being approximately 1,500 metres!
It will be a serious undertaking that tests the resolve and stamina (and waterproofs) of all those who take part.
The aim is to raise money for Alzheimer's Society, to help them to improve the lives of people affected by dementia. Alzheimer's Society is committed to defeating dementia through research and ensuring that they deliver the best help they can to those suffering from dementia today.
If you would like to sponsor Andrew, David and the team, please click here
Alternatively, you can send Andrew an email, by clicking here, stating how much you would like to pledge and sending a cheque after the event.
Any donation you may wish to make would be very much appreciated and put to excellent use by the Alzheimer's Society.
Thank you for your support.
