As Incasso and our Clients go from strength to strength, I take the rare opportunity to sit and reflect on the projects and achievements of the last 12 months. Suddenly, the thought of the looming Christmas break seems ever more appealing. But as with most people, Christmas is never a time of rest, but an ideal opportunity to think about what lies ahead in 2004.
2001 & 2002 saw many changes within the business, all having a direct impact on the Incasso team. 2003 was the year that would test our new infrastructure, but more importantly the new management team, all of whom have come through with flying colours.
There are far too many achievements to list, but there are a number that cannot go unmentioned.
We must start with our business development manager (a Liverpool supporter, but we don’t hold that against him) whose tireless efforts saw us enter a new sector for Debt Recovery, resulting in a mass recruitment drive early this year to put together a brand new five man legal team. Melanie Allen was promoted to the position of team leader, a hard earned promotion, well done Mel.
January 2003 saw the early stages of the new software development process. With a regularly bemused 4 man design team consisting of Rob Young, Dean Hope, Jonathan Madigan and yours truly emerging from 3 months intensive training, NASA has nothing on Incasso.
July 2003 and the Insolvency team go live on the new system, closely followed by the collections team. November & December will see the completion of the test phase for the legal procedures and a full go live date is set for January 2004.
Chambers and Partners Directory ranked Incasso number 2 in the North West, a tremendous accolade considering we were only 6 people strong 8 years ago.
No doubt 2004 will see many more new initiatives and projects, but one thing will always remain the same, our commitment to provide a top quality debt recovery service.
All that is left to say is a big thank you to all of our Clients for your continued support over the years. I wish you all a very merry Christmas and an even more prosperous 2004.
